Auto Attack troubles

So, have been playing for a few days only but I have an issue and I would like to know the solution. First of all I try using /all and it won't work and I can't find the setting in the options to change it. Also when I stand still I start auto attacking nearby minions that I don't want to. This makes getting last hit and gold really hard and I don't know what to do. Please help
