Removing Legacy Client

Removing the legacy client is going to kill my league experience! I can't type anything in the new client, NOTHING AT ALL! I've tried uninstalling and installing but nothing works, I've even tried going into my league files and tried to find what's wrong but nothing. I think I'll just quit league for a while, at least untill riot has fixed this and I've played the game actively since early 2013 :(
