Snowballs in ARAM

What are your thoughts about snowballs in ARAM? It was a neat novelty, but I feel like it's really screwed up the format. it used to be whoever has the most poke wins. Now it's whoever has the most tanks win. It's doubly bad because tanks are so op right now.

I really think that snowballs makes for to many champs that have almost zero counter play. If they even made it so you couldn't snowball to minions it would be way better. Make it champs only and increase the CD by 4x. Give that a try.

I think they're pretty solid, it makes a lot of melee champions that were extremely painful to play before quite powerful and have moments in the sun.

Also prevents the meta from obviously favoring a specific group of poke-heavy champions, and favoring good team-comps and teamwork over 5-man poke cheese.

Oh no, poke champions hate having to dodge skillshots. The irony is hilarious

I like them. Part of my hatred in aram is being poked to death with no way to get close without taking a buttload of damage or being CC'd Snowballs help get in there rather than sitting under your tower until you inevitably die from skillshots. It shouldn't be about who has the most range or who got rolled a blitz wins every time.

it used to be whoever has the most poke wins.

And it was horrible. Characters like Udyr/Shyvana/Evelynn were pure garbage.

Nid/Lux/Blitzcrank were free win back then.

I agree that poke was to strong. But now these champs with good stick and gap close literally have zero counter play. You can't escape from anyone, ever. Champs like galio have no counter play at all. Some of the champs that were strong with team work/good position play have become smothering.

It feels like we've traded one thing that was obnoxious for another.
