Do you care to explain how this is possible?
How are some people ranked higher than their previous season with a 30% w/r or lower? I don't understand how they manage to climb with a disgusting w/r like that.

Most likely they were the ''victims'' of the bug that places you tiers above your last year's rank
Happened to me in flex. I was last season gold 1 and i got placed in plat 1

LP gains were messed up at the start of the Season. It made climbing much easier.
