The current worst team comps in LoL history EVER! BEWARE!!!

This meta's weird! Lots of burst damage, yet supports are still really good and assassins while being amazing somehow aren't the cornerstone of the meta? And marksmen aren't bad at all, except that they're now a bit more volatile and can certainly throw games on their own. There are lots of big players right now in terms of roles (save damageless tanks) as silly as this BIG DEEPS meta is. The biggest possibly being hypercarries that happen to get fed like maybe against a team comp with little/no CC. Whether it's an assassin meta or not, however (or a meta where everyone's an assassin...?), there are certainly team comps that are optimal and others that unfortunately just don't cut it right now. And then there are some that are hilariously bad they lose in champ select. That might be the one new thing Season 8 has brought to us - the worst team comps in LoL history haha.

Here are two team comps that I think will never work for the rest of Season 8 based on this season's balance changes. Beware being a part of these comps lest you face certain doom!

1.) Two (or more) Marksmen

One marksman is bad enough - it's a guarantee that someone on the other team will get fed, either through him or his desperate support or frontline. All in the name of getting them to lategame. Two is the nail in the coffin of a team comp. With pure damage + Lethality builds + Sudden Impact are so prevalent (the biggest offender being MonkeyKing) there's little stopping them from getting annihalated. If you see a Kalista going mid for some reason or jungle Kindred or Kaisa don't pick another marksmen! It will all but ensure that your team won't make it to the lategame your team will so desperately crave unless there's some real funneling shenanigans going on...

2.) All The Single Ladies

Note: NOT BEING SEXIST!!! Just an observation from many years of playing League! Many male champions are at the end of the day jack-of-all-trades sorts of champions; they might seem like they do one thing well on the surface but through that one thing they actually become quite versatile and have a ton of options at their disposal for how they want to make a lead happen so long as they aren't feedlording. Or, late enough in the game they just inevitably ooze unfair versatility (see Yasuo). Either way they're typically designed to scrap with the best of them, make big pushes happen and make the best of bad scenarios to boot. Granted none of them are perfect.

Female champions, on the other hand, have kits that often dabble in everything but don't do any one thing quite well enough to make a significant lead happen for their team. Not to say that makes them bad picks as despite them usually not being the ones to carry the team to victory at the end of the day they can easily help others achieve that goal. Unfortunately for these independent women, however, Season 8 is a meta where champions ENTIRELY want to go big or go home!

Four or five female champions on the same team in the video game called League of Legends I promise I'm not being sexist is a bad time. They'll either win fights but earn nothing from them because they spent almost everything doing so or lose fights from putting a toe out of line and watch towers and objectives get decimated by the enemy team, unless they earn some sort of collective deathhold grip on the game that isn't seen anywhere except maybe high Diamond and Challenger/Masters. There was certainly a meta for single ladies teams, but Season 8 isn't one of them. Maybe that'll change in Season 9; who knows?

Do you have any more comps in mind that you would add to this list in a heartbeat? What about dream team comps? Does Ashe count because she's married? Think I'm wrong (or even more right than I know?!) Share your thoughts below!
