My Thoughts on Autofill

HELLO! Im gonna be a little crybaby here but please read it, i have gotten pretty tilted more than once thanks to the Autofill System!

What Is Autofill? Autofill is a system that Riot added to make the queue times shorter, by putting you in a lane that you did not choose. More often than not you get autofilled to Support. When you have gotten autofilled you will get autofill protected the next game.

What Is The Problem? The problem with autofill is that by putting for example a Top lane main in the Support lane, they will not play as well as someone that wants to play Support. The person that gets autofilled to Support will probably get "Tilted" and not play as well as he would if he got the lane he wanted, he may even troll. If he gets "tilted" he may take it out on his teammates and ruin the experience for the whole team.

Trolling. If he even starts to troll it will be a terrible game for everybody, it will be a waste of time for all of the teammates. Often it will be a Surrender at 20 Minutes and no one will be happy after wasting all of that time! What do you do when you get autofilled and REALLY dont want to play that lane? You simply have 3 options, Troll, Play the game or Dodge. If you troll it will be a waste of time for the team, if you play the enemies might have an advantage. Dodging might be the smartest option the most of the time, but you will get a time out and dont even get autofill protected.

Ranked. In ranked the rules are changed, you will have autofill protected if you are in Series or in Promos but not otherwise. Having autofill in ranked will make these 3 options much harder, if you troll you lose Lp and waste time, if you play the game you will probably lose. In ranked the smartest option is still Dodging but you still get the time out and lose some Lp.

My Opinions. In my opinion i would rather wait an extra 5-10 minutes than waste my time on a 20-30 minute game where no one is happy, i think most would agree with me! As an ADC main it's stressfull enough to sit through the champion select hoping that they won't ban my main , if i want to play a fun game with my friends i dont want to be scared to get autofilled already in the queue. As i said im an Adc main so i have played with a couple of autofilled supports that do not want to play support so they either troll or play without knowing what to do. This is especially frustrating in Ranked when you are trying to climb.

Personally i hope that they will remove autofill or atleast make the system better, atleast remove it in ranked. PLEASE! Thank you for reading! Vote and Comment what you think!
