Aatrox remake reminds me of a mage? Odd.

To me he feels like a full on AD caster. To be clear, Not an assassin, but kind of an AD battle mage . Talking or gameplay of in your face but hugely reliant on ability's to do well. Despite all the comparisons just does not really give me a vibe of rivin 2.0 which honestly was kinda my expectation. I only got a game in so far so my view might change just after a little hands on and practice tool that's where im at.

Im curious if I am alone in this view, just the majority of power in his kit seems to be in his QW and E serves to assist both of them... and even his passive reminds me a bit of passives like
