Elise is in a really great place right now!

As a Silver-ranked Elise main who watches his fair share of NA and EU LCS matches, along with the occasional LCK, LPL, and OPL matches, I just want to say that I think Elise is in a great place right now, for several reasons:

-- In pro play, she doesn't have a 100% pick/ban rate like the god tier junglers, Nidalee and Kindred, but when they are off the table, she's right up there with Rek'Sai, Gragas, Graves, etc.

-- She supports multiple play styles effectively. You can build her as an AP assassin with Runic Echoes, a tank with Cinderhulk and any combination of Armor, MR, and her traditional one-two of Rylai's and Liandry's -- I bet you could even build Bloodrazor and just tear through people with her Spider Form's Skittering Frenzy... okay, maybe not. But maaaybe!

-- She's both fun and rewarding to play AND exciting to watch when played well!

Anyway, for all the shit that the balance team probably catches every time they nerf someone's favorite champion, I figured they probably rarely hear it when someone feels their fave champ is in a good spot. So, please, keep the nerf hammer away from her, okay? :P

Regardless of where Elise sits in the meta, I refuse to play her anymore. Release Elise was a little strong, but she was fun, and effective. It was not a numbers thing. It was not the fact that she could build tank and still assassinate people.

Elise was fun because of fluidity. Release Elise could E someone inside her circle and follow them out of it, and also Q midair. Those should not have been changed. How often do you click someone inside the indicator and simply hang their because they left the circle? How often do people simply get out of spider form Q's short range after rappel?

There's a lot to be said about the variables that determine strength. Honestly, Elise is a cautionary tale. You want to fuck with assassin mains, make their champs clunky.
