@Riot: Are there any champs the the community overwhelmingly plays/builds wrong?

As the game designers, you guys obviously have a pretty good idea of the optimal ways your champions ought to be built, which skills to max, which masteries/runes to take, etc. And the community tends to do a pretty good job of figuring out the optimal way to play a champion. And yet other times, the optimal path remains hidden for very long periods of time until it is discovered and shared by some enterprising player. Ghostblade Cleaver Lucian is probably the best recent example of a build that was overlooked for ages until Koreans started to popularize it.

With that in mind, are there any champions you find that the community plays highly inefficiently? I personally have my own opinions but I'd love to hear from you guys about strong builds for champs that the community has missed. Given how huge the roster is now, I know some examples must exist.
