You know, Renekton is pretty beast. Not only is he tanky, he's also a great damage dealer. Personally, I don't like Renekton as a tank, but it's got it's advantages. He can stay in lane longer. He can do good damage. and all other attack speed, damage, critical strike chance, life steal, and a little bit of tanky there, you got yourself a killing machine. Try Renekton with an AD build. It's fun. I died less than with kills. I got many kills. But not a big amount. SO yeah, try 's AD build. Spells that would be great with Renekton's AD build are and . Trust me, you will stay longer in lane and be able to finish your opponent faster.

Full AD Renekton is mostly cheese. He doesn't have the same tools to pull off full AD adventures as Yasou, Wukong, Jax, Yi, Tryndamere, Poppy, or a range of other fighters with 100% damage reduction mechanics. He also doesn't scale as well with pure AD as most champions, he scales pretty well - but his burst isn't that of most assassins, and his mobility isn't either.

Winning as a glass crocodile is mostly about obliterating your lane opponent and snowballing so hard you either push for a win before team-fights start happening, or you get so much of a level lead you've got enough defense to make it work from stats alone.

Avoiding team fights entirely isn't easy though, and the fighters that aren't bruisers can scale a lot harder with AD. Trying to out-AD adventures a champion like Riven is usually a baaaaad idea if they're just as skilled a player.

The biggest advantage you have with a bruiser like Renekton is you can just straight counterbuild your opponent and generally bring a respectable level of kill potential and damage regardless. If that counterbuild applies to a good chunk of the enemy team you can be a pretty solid asset come team fights as well, being an immovable object that freaks people out - rather than a suicide bomber that might get defused before you can reach anything.

I like build renekton with item 3156 item 3065 item 3068 item 3035 item 3047 item 3074 . Still immortal, great damage and still tankiness. sunfire cape is bad in some situation. Take rune with CDR flat or per level.
