Some things really don't make sense to me, why don't Riot make certain items/runes worse on Ranged?

And even in the cases where they do finally make it worse it's usually only after they've been oppressive for far too long on people that should never have been taking them.

Stuff like slow should really be half effective for ranged champs and it astounds me that this hasn't been done yet. And Aftershock should only grant 50% the resistances on Ranged champs like how all the other Keystones grant less effects for Ranged champions.

I don't understand how these two problem cases still haven't been changed so they line up with every other problem in the game despite how long they've been abused by those that shouldn't be taking it.
