ARAM is nowhere near "random" or fun as it used to be

4 Xerath and 3 ziggs in the last last five games... Pure cancer to play against, lost the game before it even started. Nothing but deaths over and over again. How is that fun, it's designed to piss you off and make you miserable. RIOT might as well just starting handing out Free S rank to people now. Make it so ARAM player can ff at like 5 mins or ban ARAM accounts so we don't have to go through this bullshit. I've played over 1300 games in ARAM and the only reason I'm posting this is because my quality of game has gone down so much and about 70% of the games are so one sided it was over in champ select.

Allowing people to play champions they don't own would fix all of that, regardless of whether or not they're in the free rotation at said moment. And I really think that's how it should be, rather than limiting players to champions they own.

Aram accounts are a problem, but IMO, the largest problem that causes aram to be so terribly one sided is DODGES.

Let me explain, if someone doesn't think their team comp is good, they (or one of the other 4 players on their team) will just dodge in champ select a good amount of the time. But if their team comp is good, they won't dodge (obviously)

So when you think about it, the only reason one side won't dodge, is because they have been waiting and waiting because they just want to play a game already, and they are willing to settle having a sub-par team just to finally play a damn game.

But that just means the players who actually want to play (and not be a dodging-BITCH), get fucked with the short end of the stick. They take the game that they can get, rather than get the perfect comp that dodgers use dodging for until they can get.

And I'm not saying that this is a single (player's) fault for being a "serial-dodger" Dodging is an EPIDEMIC that many players take part in and it causes long que times and unbalanced comps.

Seems like you're just writhing in salt, more than taking the time to have a valid arguement.

I've found that it's possible to win ARAM with basically any matchup, just like on summoner's rift.

People tend to get salty about losing because they aren't playing well enough and blame others.

I had an aram today, my team comp was Blitzcrank Volibear Lissandra Karthus Braum while the enemy team was Orianna Malphite Ashe Fizz Pantheon

Out of those two comps, the enemy team had the stronger team due to the combo they could've done, which would've won them each fight had they used it. They didn't, instead they allowed us to use our one-person chain cc on well... one person, which followed by the whole team falling apart afterwards.

ARAMS are random, if you're getting a bunch of Zigg's and Xerath's and other champs that do well on aram, than you most likely ended up against a few aram-only accounts. Which, are accounts that buy champs such as Ziggs and Xerath and other champs to be sure to get one of them each aram.

it definitely feels like there's "spurts" of champions, like i'll see a ziggs every game for five but not see lux for about ten games in a row. but at the core except for aram accounts it does feel pretty random to me. the only thing i would change to deal with that issue is increase the reroll cap to reward people who actually have a champion pool. i'm aware when you own all the champions or near you basically get a RR every game but that doesn't properly compensate for the negative effect of having more champions. there's 136 champions at the moment, so i say when you own 50 you get +1 reroll and at 100 you get a second

i know embracing rerolls somewhat takes away from the feeling of randomness but in reality i think when there's more freedom people will be less inclined to make aram accounts, dodge out the ass, or say to hell with that mode altogether
