Lucain amsteries that gain you hp when dead.

Played a match as kindred mid vs Lucain. At level 2 around the 3 minute mark I get him down to 50hp and ignite. he doesn't have heal. He gains 100 hp and I lose 300 hp from a basic. Says its his masteries. So...what masteries are those. I don't recall seeing anything like that in the patch either.
