MMR is bs?
I get that mmr determines how lp you get, but I feel like matchmaking by mmr is bs. I should get to rank up because I’m good not get matched with people worse than bots on my team. Right? It should just match you by rank.

So, you know those times where you get into the pregame, start banning/whatever, and see people on your team, and then someone dodges? When that happens you can end up seeing people who were on your team on the enemy team instead. This is because your team and the enemy team are pulled from the exact same pool of players.
What this means is if the people you're being matched with are worse then bots, then not only is the enemy team worse than bots, but you are too.
Rank is an even worse indicator of skill than MMR. It changes too rapidly and randomly.
Matchmaking by rank just is not possible. Well it is but it would basically be the exact same thing it is now.
That is why they have MMR numbers ranging from 600(if you are lower than that god help you)-2400.
You get matched by MMR numbers to help you, it is not to hurt your game experience.
