Even better, Champions killed by Poppy's ultimate will respawn through a special animation, which involves them falling face first on the fountain.
Could be neat. I mean they did make it so Sion's E doesn't kill a minion until it reaches the end of its knockback.
When you just respawned as support and see the mangled body of your adc land beside you, that's a good reminder of the situation you've managed to feed yourself into.

Why make the exception? Surviving the ult doesn't let you stay and keep affecting the fight in that area. Why should dying be more lenient?

Oh man, imagine 
with this. First he lands far away in Tristy and then he gets sent back up. He already has my favourite death animation but this will make it amazing.
No thank you, bouncing corpses is already dumb annoying and distracting as it is. I don't to see death animations flying across the map. And having them die when they eventually land is stupid since you've already killed them AND they're untargetable for as long as they're airborn.
passives, guardian angel and zilean ult wouldn't cancel the knockback anyway so they should still be knocked back.

Champions killed that don't have an effect that triggers on death should continue flying around the map randomly and really slowly.
