Let's talk about Bruiser Assassins
Let's talk about Bruiser Assassins. That was not something I think could ever be a classification in a DotA style game.
Assassins are an obvious classification. A group of characters that are relatively squishy but back a huge punch in the damage department. Glass cannons if you will.
Bruisers are another classification that makes sense. A group of characters that are all about the melee combat. They get in, disrupt the enemy carry and use their auto attacks and large heal pool to tank some hits, but don't have the CC or damage mitigation abilities of characters that may considered more of the "Tank" variety.
Those two classifications have an obvious dissonance when applied to each other. Taking the damage of an assassin and giving to the relative tanky nature of a bruiser basically makes a classification with no drawbacks. Something that could easily become imbalanced.
