[Poll if you care] RIP Veigar: I Now Condemn You to Urgot's Closet.

As someone who has played Veigar since season 2, I can say I am thoroughly disappointed.

While the changes to his cooldowns and mana and Q hitting two targets (I love this, actually) were very much appreciated, his stun and R are now totally horrific and I do not plan to play him in ranked ever again, except MAYBE vs specific ~~~~champs Karthus --- and does anyone even play Karthus anymore???

Basically, the stun is awful and easy to dodge, and u have very little kill potential given the fact that people can now get out of what used to be a surprise-- Event Horizon is now something you get popcorn for, sit back, and watch the show. It is not a "surprise, you dead" move, the trademark of Veigar. Instead, it is something which is absolutely disappointing.

Furthermore, the changes to the R are not nearly as good "late game" as Riot mentions in the patch update. His late game, yes, might have slightly more farmed Q and shorter cd's and mana costs and a larger range on Q and E, but in all reality, I would prefer to have those stats and the old stun and ap ratio, as the ratio makes him so much more deadly. And without a reliable q or stun, (and subsequently, w,) his damage is very much miss or hit, not stun and done.

Riot, the changes made to Veigar make him absolutely worthless in competitive play. His surprise, instantaneous stun was his trademark. It allowed him to make his deathly combo work. Now it is like a deflated balloon which people pity and want to put in a closet with Urgot.

Finally, the changes to Veigar as a result of getting rid of DFG encouraged people who were good at Veigar to stick with him, and those who were bad to gtfo. I personally do better without DFG, as it is unnecessary to Veigar's kit pre-5.4.

My standard build pre 5.4: Dorans x2 pots ABYSSAL RABADONS SORC ZHONYAS VOID RYLAIS/ MEIJAIS depending on game. Easily get above 1000 ap with every game. I won roughly 57% of games pre DFG removal. I have won roughly 71% post removal. Hmmmmm, maybe because Abyssal is super useful offensively and defensively? Maybe because DFG encourages a less sustainable game, which makes Veigar die from 2 Ahri Q's and an R? Hmmmm.

Stop trying to "improve Veigar." The best thing you can do now is bring him back from the "no one likes me" closet you just threw him into. I will never play him again in ranked unless it is vs. Karthus.

And seriously. Who plays Karthus.

RIP Veigar. You will be missed.
