Why do some people hate Sona?!?!?!? When I recently made a poll of best supports a lot of people voted Soraka and said, "Sona's heals barely do anything compared to Soraka, she is currently on of the worst supports." I was like, "what." She is my favorite support and I have won 10 out of 11 games with her. Not to mention every game I've played with her I have barely any deaths and end up getting fed. (Yes I know supports aren't supposed to be the ones getting kills but, somehow i end up dealing more damage than my ADC) I thought that I was one of few people that thought that Sona was actually a good support, and then I saw PhyLoL make a video of the top champions of each role to climb with and Sona was #2 in the supports. And she is a tier 1 support. Please explain why some people don't like her. <3

You can win games with any character in most ranks. that doesn't necessarily make them good on the large scale. I think Sona got picked into a pro game recently and it ended very, very poorly.

Her range is meh compared to:
Her healing is meh compared to: (both of whom provide a lot more than just healing, Soraka is a amssive healer + silence and Nami has a lot of CC abilities)
And her ult is very meh for what it doesnt and the range of it's cast.

its not hate, its just practical. On average, there are a lot of better options for supports that do what Sona does and they do it better. I enjoy Sona a decent little bit but if I had to make a Top 10 supports...she wouldn't be very high...if on it...

Almost all the supports that troll me play sona

You know... the ones that steal your first four kills, then build straight AP, and wander around to every other lane at the 8 minute mark leaving you in lane to 1v2.

It doesn't matter if she's your "favorite" support and it especially doesn't matter if you manage to cheese wins with her in bronze, where you yourself admitted you are ranked. The impartial facts are that she's the numerically weakest support in the game. She literally ONLY works in bronze, because that's literally the ONLY division where players won't retaliate when you take that step forward for a Hymn or a basic attack.

Facts are, Sona is the squishiest character in League, the only reason you claim you "have barely any deaths" is because bronze players don't understand how to do damage. She has the lowest damage bases and scalings of any support in the game, her only positive winrate is the artificial damage item cheese build, where she literally buys artificial numbers to compensate for the fact she has none of her own. She has no pre-6 hard CC, which just inherently makes most characters unplayable in the support role on its own. She has one of the weakest ults amongst supports with one of the smallest hitboxes, shortest ranges, shortest durations and longest cooldowns.

I don't care what bronze tier list video you watched. Every Master+ Sona main fell all the way to low diamond as a direct result of patch 4.13 and to this day, not a single one is able to climb back to where they used to be. Sona is not a playable character.

Such blatant hypocrisy that you call the people ANGERED by Rito's anti-Sona prejudice "Sona haters" when you as the troll picking Sona are the actual Sona hater. Everyone that actually likes Sona has stopped playing her A) because she's not playable anymore and B) playing her is just a constant reminder that Fearless RAPED HER and then Jag, Meddler and Repertoir decided to join in for sloppy seconds.

Because the #SaveSona2015 people will continuously argue with you about how old broken Sona was forever superior to post-rework Sona and why she needs a revert on the rework.

All of which I personally think is bullshit, but that's because I'm a feebly Bronze player and Sona is perfectly viable in Bronze as is. Which is totally fine considering the nature of the game.
