Why Does Everything Suck Right Now (Rant)

The boards community, the gameplay, Riot's decisions, everything

I have been a low elo player since Season 3 with my best rank ever being Silver 3 (playing duo with a friend) so call me the average boards poster & player (fact: 90% of people who complain on the boards are Gold 3 and lower)

I've slowly died down playing this game not for the fact that I simply can't climb (I've accepted that I can't improve) but more of the game play aspect, where close to everyone including some supports can do an outrageous amount of damage mixed in with the fact that if I or anyone of my team mates fuck up once it almost always snowballs into an unstoppable mess due to long death timers and Dragon and Baron having more of a power spike than it used to in previous seasons. Like I would never picture back in Late season 3 - early season 4 that attack speed junglers would get any more power than what was at the time Wriggles Lantern or ADCs would get any stronger or champion designs would get more ridiculous and unfun to match against (Gnar, reworked Fiora, Tahm Kench, Kalista, Yasuo) or that power spikes would get any larger.

And aside from my game play frustrations, 90% of the boards community can't make up their fucking minds. I've been an avid reader of the boards / forums since I started playing, and there has NEVER been a healthy state of League of Legends, argue all you want but there has never in the game's what? 7 year run that we've had a healthy state (then again, I didn't play the first 2 seasons) sure there has been more fun states of the game (accoridng to some of the people here, Season 5's Juggernaut / Cinderhulk meta was the last fun time of League, but I remember the same number of people bitching about Juggernauts and Cinderhulk like Devourer and Dynamnic Que today. People of the boards, we'll never have a healthy state of League since everyone in this game sticks to what's strongest (META) like flies to poop and all what you guys complain about is the meta, we'll never have that healthy state.

And what makes matters worse is Riot's "we got dis guise" approach to everything and never lets the community help dictate what they should do through polls or anything and tbh most of their changes have kinda made it like what WoW used to be (WoW was golden first 3 expansions, took a slight fall in 4th expansion and died in 5th and 6th expansion for those who don't understand). I don't know why Riot is not taking advantage of this huge, dedicated player base that wants the best for this game and not getting any community opinion on anything and is just throwing shit blindly at us seems like a terrible idea, but here they go doing it repeatedly.

I'm done ranting, really hoping Season 7 is a time of revival for League.
