Today's topic, I would like to know how you guys would Rework Zilean if you were a part of the Design team. Zilean has been around for quite a long time & is easily one of my favorite Mages in the game. Unfortunately, his Age is definitely showing & he could use a touch up at some point.

Suggestions I have:

  • Move his [W: Rewind] to his Passive. By successfully landing abilities, he can lower the cooldowns of his other abilities.

  • Leave [Q: Time Bomb] the way it is. This ability provides Zilean with the ability to Zone his opponents with proper placement. It also rewards him with an AoE Stun if he can successfully Chain his Time Bombs together. Since Rewind has been moved to his passive, they could do some number changing to the Cooldown & Damage to the ability.

  • His W would have to be a new ability/mechanic since Rewind has been relegated to being a passive. Perhaps a mechanic that allows him & possibly ally to break the Cooldown Reduction Cap (which normally is 40% - 45% CDR).

  • [E: Time Warp] is probably one of my favorite aspects of his Kit (Having a 99% Slow against Enemies can be extremely potent, especially since it's click & point). However, it could use a bit more skill expression.

  • [R:Chronoshift] would also left untouched as well. This is Zileans signature spell & it wouldn't be Zilean without Chronoshift.

What do you guys think? If you guys could give Zilean a rework, how would you do it?
