New Ranked System

Hey guys!

I have a quick question.

So last season I got Diamond 5. I've done 7/8 mid ranked matches and so far it reads:

Plat 4 - Mid

After the 8th match, does it recalculate the rank? Or does it add/decrease LP on the current rank, and keep it there?

Also, does flex rank have these splits of ranked roles as well?
