@Rito What Goes Into the Making and Removing of Items in League?
Hey, Rioters, Reds, and Players alike! I just wanted to ask a couple things:
For the Reds:
What goes into making a new item? Why don't we see new items more often? Does any item in particular stand out as something you are proud of creating?
For the Players:
What items do you miss that have been removed?
Personally, I miss all the Black Market Brawler items. They were so unique and creatively designed, and made it so that each game felt distinctly different from typical matches on Summoner's Rift. I also liked Zephyr and the old Zeke's Herald. One gave you the distinct feel of swift gameplay, and the other gave you a creative mix of stats that enabled team wide aggression.
Are there any items you build regardless of who you play?
I have an irrational love of spellvamp and lifesteal, and items with both ability power and attack damage, so I will build Hextech Gunblade on almost anything. For the record, this is not a good idea, but I simply can't stop. Help me. Please. It's an addiction.
What items would you like to see in the future?
I also have an addiction to items with infinite stacking, like the old Devourer, and the current Titanic Hydra on Sion. Anything with the potential of infinite stockage just ensnares me. The Flesheater in Black Market Brawlers was a great example.
