One I think I would like to point out is that the champion pool doesn't seem very versatile. You have no ad champions, you only have one person is who a secondary assassin, no primary assassins, and only one person who is mobile, not counting taliyahs ult. I would recommenced trying zed, yas, akali, or lb. For the primary assassin, and zed or yas for the ad. Probably yas over zed because zed is kinda out of the meta atm and not very good. Also maybe talon, but he is getting a rework soon so it's kinda pointless to completely learn him.

Hopefully a mid main or higher ranking player will add you and give you some good tips. I don't main mid and only gold 4 but can give you some general tips.

  1. I see the champs you posted are all champs currently being played in the LCS. Although this is generally seen as these champions are strong you don't only have to play those champs just because the pros do. I would almost suggest not playing a lot of those champs until you learn the game more since they can be mechanically challenging - (well maybe not Malzahar he fairly simple).

Play who you want as long as you confident in them. If its for a team I understand why you would look more at these champions but unless you playing at pro or semi pro level it really shouldn't matter who you play as long as you good with them.

Example: I don't main mid but when playing mid in ranked I generally run Annie & Lux. I find them both fairly simple to play, effective, and have played a lot of games on both of them so I know their limits.

  1. harassing while staying safe in lane. Obviously like adc you want to harass the enemy but you also don't want to die while doing it. I usually try and freeze lane and just cs while getting some poke on the enemy mid laner. You can try and shove lane to make the enemy miss cs but then realize you are setting yourself up to be ganked easily so you have to be cautious of ganks.

Us jungle mains love ganking mid.

  1. You have to know when to roam and when to stay in lane. If you winning lane and see bot lane is pushed or there is an easy gank sometimes its a good idea to roam bot for some kills or help secure a dragon. Just have to pay attention to the mini map and teammates. But at the same time if you roam a lot you are going to be missing out in cs and potentially setting up an opportunity for the enemy mid to push lane on you and grab tower and a cs lead.

I usually just try and farm mid and poke enemy and hopefully get some solo kills on the enemy mid laner or a kill/assist via gank from my jungle. If I am ahead I usually look for opportunities to roam and try and get some kills in bot lane. If I am even or behind I usually stick more to lane and only roam if the enemy mid laner starts heading bot or top. Sometimes its better to just push mid when enemy is roaming if you feel you can't really help your team in a fight or you feel it just more beneficial to push mid.

These tips obviously pretty general and it takes time/practice/experience to get better at them.

  1. Warding and map awareness are really important. Mid is the most important lane and also the easiest to gank as I said earlier along with having the quick access to roaming top or bot. So knowing where the enemy is as much as possible is important along with knowing where your teammates are.

  2. Clearing waves when enemy pushing. Assuming you are one of the above mages listed you should be able to clear waves pushing on your towers easily. If enemy starts pushing mid and you are out numbered be very cautious and ping assistance. You should be able to clear waves from tower, but if tower low and you going to get dove and you have no back up just give up the turret. Again, this comes with experience and practice. But clearing waves on enemy pushes is really important since they cant attack your turret without minions unless they going to tank turret shots.

This already getting long so done listing tips. Hopefully this helps and hopefully other players have some additional tips for you.

Good luck!

edit: Not sure why the formatting is the way it is. In my version the tips not all labeled 1 so not sure what happened ha.

Your champion pool lacks ad so i would suggest you play Varus or Ezreal, both skill shot relaying but both are worth it for siege and poke they bring to the table but Ezreal have little to known wave clear expect of his ultimate and Varus has no mobility.

one champ i suggest playing simply for fun would be Velkoz . Malzahar used to be my main till they changed him. (i dont like the way he plays now) but he is still a really strong pick. vel'koz however is one of the best kiters in the game with some of the best poke. most of his damage is true damage so your enemies can build magic resist all they want and nothing is more satisfying than shooting that giant ass laser straight through yasuo's windwall.
