Syndra Rework idea for her passive and Ult
I think her passive is lackluster and because her ult is point and click people will always complain about it being too cheesy so these ideas are an attempt to make it seem more workable (?)
Passive - Master of space balls! (tweaked)
Syndra gains extra effects on her abilities as she masters them, the will also change the sphere type. In addition every time she masters an ability her spheres will last 0.5 seconds more for a total of 2 seconds when she masters every ability ( basically at lv 18 her sphere will last up to 8 seconds )
At lv 5 her Q ( Dark Sphere ) - Will become burst sphere's and they will deal 15% extra damage. Any sphere hit by the radius of Dark Sphere will also become Burst spheres but they will not reactivate the damage just turn
At lv 5 her W ( Force of Will ) - Sphere's grabbed by force of will will become crushing spheres. Crushing spheres deal regular sphere damage but have a 10% magic pen attached to them. Any sphere's hit by the radius of Force of Will will become a Crushing sphere but will not reactivate the damage
At lv 5 her E ( Scatter the Weak ) - Sphere's pushed by the center of Scatter the weak will become Piercing spheres. Piercing Spheres go through minions dealing 100% of regular sphere's damage, after going through a champion the sphere will keep going till it reaches its maximum distance but dealing instead 60% damage until it hits another champion then it will stop. ( basically it can go through 1 champion dealing normal damage and it will stop if it hits a second champion dealing 60% of the damage to that second champ )
At lv 3 her R ( Unleashed Power ) - Syndra's 3 floating spheres will become the type of sphere of her last used skill regardless if the skill has been mastered or not.
So that's it for the passive, i felt getting rid of the true damage would always be a good thing as i don't feel it's a good thing to have in the game at all. Her Q is too dangerous to use at times vs the little damage it actually does so i felt her old Q mastery would have been good while still having a chance of building up balls with the time increased. The magic pen is ofcourse to fight off tanks and mr building front line and the piercing is of choice if the player wants to dish in some damage to the back lines and this is all to work in favor of the ult.
And now for the rework ult, if it hasn't been obvious up to now what the new ult would be then i'll just spell it out. A magnetic sphere orb.
Unleashed Power (reworked ) R - A skill shot, the player throws a magnetic sphere in a straight line. If the projectile hits a champion all spheres including the ones orbiting syndra will fly out and hit the target champion each sphere dealing damage proportionate to it's sphere type ( meaning each burst sphere will deal 15% more dmg, each crushing has the 10% magic pen and each piercing after hitting the target champion will continue to fly off till it reaches it's maximum distance or collides with a second champion ) If the player misses Unleashed Power it will activate at the targeted area recalling all spheres to that location, however any champion in the immediate path of the sphere at that time will get hit by said sphere and the sphere will stop in that champions footsteps unless is a piercing one it will go on till it hits a second champion or reaches the magnetic sphere.
Note: While it does sound a bit similar to
ult it wouldn't work the same way. If you miss the magnetic sphere you missed that's it, it will not lash on to a target. The skill will be instant, the second the magnetic sphere hits a target or reaches it's targeted area the spheres will instantly start to fly towards it.
