Why is it so hard to get lvl 7 Zed?

ive been trying to get lvl 7 zed for a while and it hasnt been working (im not saying im good at zed and i deserve lvl 7) but yesterday i played a match as zed and went 19/2/5 with 178 CS in 30:40 min and got an s-. Then my friend as jinx went 9/2/11 with 94 CS in 30:40 min and got an S+. So tell me how does that work? I beat him in every aspect exept assists yet he gets an s+ and i dont? just wondering how that works

The rating system takes your performance and compares it to other people's performance around your level in your lane/position. To get an S or higher as Zed mid is extremely difficult at any ELO. If you want it a little easier, I suggest you cheese Zed top.

Probably because you are bad at zed. you are compared to other zed players at your elo...

your zed is not the best your build order is weird and your csing with him sucks really hard
