I played a champion in an unusual role for that champion...

I have Leona level 4 almost level 5 and I wanted to get her level 5. I didn't want to play her support and decided to try something new, so I played her Jungle instead. I queued up for draft and was the first pick, after bans, I locked in Leona Jungle and the first thing our ADC said was ''Leona jungle seriously?'' I replied ''Yeah why not?'' He replied ''He isn't meta!'' I said ''So? Am I not allowed to play certain champions in an unusual role?'' And the game started. I really enjoyed playing her in the jungle, her clear was a bit slow so I went for warrior for the extra damage and for an early sheen because it does really good damage with her Q. The Jhin was feeding really bad. I just don't understand why people judge others for playing a champion in an unusual role because if pro players would play Leona jungle, for example, it would be considered normal but because it's not popular I get flamed for doing this. Here are the results of the game:

I really recommend trying Leona jungle out, it's really fun!

That is awesome!

When I first played Leona support I thought of what she would be like to jungle (or even top). I'm glad you didn't let Jihn affect your approach and you tried it out! It does get quite annoying when you get flamed for trying something new in normals, where else are you supposed to try??

In the same vein, last night I played MF adc and my support was a Darius, it was so fun!

I like her in jungle too but I prefer the attack speed item instead of the attack damage one. Either way, Sheen does help quite a bit!
