It's no secret that Sol is weak in Plat+ elo. However, these changes are not the remedy he needs. All they do is change his identity into something he was never meant to be. The W is just super clunky now and so unsatisfying to use. Honestly I have no idea what they're trying to accomplish with these changes, but if it's meant to lower his playrate further they will definitely succeed.
Are you missing the point? Changing them into what he wasn't meant to be is what they want, and what they should do. Because what he was meant to be ended up being a failure.
It may be unsatisfying to someone who's played a lot of Aurelion, but to players who are used to having some kind of burst/poke (namely, everyone else), they feel a lot better.
Asking that they don't ship changes that'll salvage a failed concept is like asking someone to not add eggs to a cake recipe that's missing the eggs. The concept was for a cake devoid of eggs, but a cake devoid of eggs isn't going to be a cake.
Question is, did you really test the changes to their full potential. Cuz cc not disabling the stars is huge.
They are experimental don’t worry. A Sol is safe for at least one more patch.
