Ranking

Recently I've been ranking on my account I got to lvl 30 which goes by the name 'MisashiKitten'. This account got to 30 not to long ago and we began ranking about 2 days after it initially hit lvl 30. Unfortunately we got ranked on it a day before the season reset (we got Gold 3). I finished ranked placements yesterday and I do realize it would be too late for me to get season rewards etc, but I was just curious overall. Do I have a higher chance of staying in the Gold area or will I be more likely to be bumped down? I would just like some simple feedback.
