Ping went up for the entire West coast, Alaska, and Hawaii left without a chance of ranked, I'm out.

You've really done it this time Riot, see, the thing is, when people play for years, they get used to how skill shots work, and the delays surrounding them, it's the reason why fighting games aren't popular online, it's the reason why rhythm games have a screen delay setting, you get used to how something works, for years and years, then all of a sudden someone jams a wrench in the works, you miss most of your skill shots, and you get frustrated that nothing works like it used to. So, after playing since Season 1, I bid you goodbye, I wasted all that time, and all that money, just to be thrown under the bus like this. East coasters, I'm happy for you that now you finally get a chance to enjoy what I have for so long, I just wish there was a way we could both keep a low ping. As it is now, my ping is far too high to enjoy playing, and I really don't want to try to retrain 5 years of memory, so, until a new server is released on the West, or you find a way to give the West their old ping and keep the new ping for the East, goodbye, so long, it's been fun, it's been real, and it's been real fun, but it's over now.

TL;DR East Coasters, I know you understand where I'm coming from, you've had it bad this whole time, and like I said, I'm happy that you get the opportunity to enjoy what West Coasters have had for years, I don't want that taken away from you, congratulations, and enjoy it, I just want the reflexes I am used to returned to me, Riot, I'll keep updated on the news for the next few months, and I hope you can bring the old servers back for West Coasters, and give the new one to the East Coasters, but it's obvious that one server for everyone just won't do the job.

If you feel your gameplay has been affected by this move in a negative way, I encourage you to leave with me, until Riot can treat all of their customers better, and equally, I cannot continue to support a company that values population size over quality and fairness.

East, I ask for your support, and West, I ask for your integrity, this needs to be made fair for everyone, thank you for reading.

All of West Coast are gaining at least 20-100ping but mostly 100

It making the ping jump randomly retar****** too

Daily reminder dota 2, diablo 2, wow, all have servers that are zone dependent, with many being int he US

All I asked for, was some sympathy from the East Coast, they've lived with it for years, they have it now, and for some reason, when the servers are proposed for a NA-W and NA-E, people are against it, and down vote, why is it that when you ask someone nicely, politely, and respectfully something surrounding this game, it's met with irrational hostility, is it really that much to ask for some basic human decency? To just, be a good person and understand where I'm coming from? I hate how cutthroat this community has become, being a rude jerk doesn't make you any better, it doesn't improve your gameplay, doesn't make you react quicker, but people seem to think that by being a jerk they will be remembered among the millions of other jerks doing the same thing. I'm done with this community, I'm done with these servers, until Riot finds a fix for both, I'm out, and I'm taking a good portion of the community with me.

If so many of you have played with that ping, and think it's just fine, then why did we need to move then?

I'm smelling some serious BS with this new 120 ping of mine. I hope it lowers back down soon...

What I find amusing about the west coast's complaints is that their ping now is still lower than what the east coast had up until the move.

I personally averaged 120-150 on the east coast. 200 on occasion, and I was on the lower end of east coast ping.
