Frame freezing (mac)

Heyo,

After not playing league for a month or so, I booted it up to play a game with my mates. Unfortunately for me, my screen continuously freezes every second which results in me dropping from 60+fps (60-100) to 00fps. I had no issues like this before and it is quite frustrating when the game doesn't co-operate with me.

I have tried changing settings to see if that was the issue and turning off all background apps. But unfortunately it has not improve whatsoever.

my mac: MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017, Two Thunderbolt 3 ports) processor: 2.3 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5 memory: 8 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3 graphics: Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640 1536 MB

I am hoping that the next update will do something, but currently, I am a bit frustrated over this.
