My Yorick Build
Starting Items
Laning Phase
Middle Game
Late Game

Final item is your choice. Zz'Rot Portal, Black Cleaver, Spirit Visage, Thornmail, and Randuin's are all pretty decent options for a final item.
When you start the game, you get a Doran's Blade to boost the stats of your Mist Walkers with the Health and AD provided. The Life Steal also helps a ton. Cull could be a decent options since Yorick prioritizes last hitting a ton (even though you should be on anyone) but I haven't tried yet. Next, you get Boots of course because Yorick is immobile and could use that extra movement speed. Then we take a pitstop for further down the build to get a Vampiric Scepter. The Life Steal it provides will make you extremely hard to kill during the laning phase with the healing of your Q and will likely force the enemy Jungler to gank to kill you. Next, you get a Trinity Force because it just has a ton of synergy with Yorick. He puts good use to all of the stats it provides and benefits from both passives. Plus, it is really good to get due to the CDR it provides. We begin to transition into Mid-Game by now most likely. We begin our build to our core team fight item, being Death's Dance. The AD it provides heavily boosts the damage dealt by your summons and the CDR gets us real close to getting max CDR (I run 10% CDR in my Masteries so it caps me). Most importantly, however, is that Death's Dance healing off of physical damage applies to Mist Walkers. Unless your enemy is focusing them down (which can be a benefit in and of itself), they will be dealing steady damage during a fight, especially due to the AD Death's Dance gives. You will be healing for a % of all the damage they deal, ending up with a TON of healing if they can get a ton of attacks off during a fight. After getting the glorious item that is Death's Dance, you get Deadman's Plate for that armor you desperately need plus more mobility to pursue enemies who are really overdue for a dirt nap. The game should be getting late by now, so you further boost your healing by picking up a Hextech Gunblade. This provides you with more healing from Mist Walkers, but Hextech Gunblade's healing will also heal you from The Maiden, so that's... a TON OF HEALING! The active can also be pretty helpful for the slow it provides, but it's not the reason you buy the item. The AP provided it put to decent use in Yorick's E, but it's still a whatever. As stated above, the final item purchased is based on preference. You can switch between whether you get the preference item and Hextech Gunbalde last based on what you need at the time more. Black Cleaver and Spirit Visage are usually the items I would purchase depending on if I need Armor Pen or Magic Resist more. I didn't mention it above, but Sterak's can also be bought to decent effect.
If you are going to hop into a game as Yorick, try this build first since it is pretty good for first time with new Yorick due to the amount of forgiving sustain it provides.
