Mordekaiser Ideas #2

So, the Mordekaiser rework being what it is (I won't paste every link to every single complaint thread or topic, there are 100+ if you google it), and after all this time, I thought I could add my grain too.

First, why doesn't RIOT makes a poll? A simple poll on your website, asking if the player base wants to keep that rework or not.

Secondly, if you don't re-rework him, changing his scalings to be somewhat effective would already be a huge thing. At the moment, he scales off of HP, AD, AP, MPen, ArPen, needs movement speed and Rylai's slow to be viable. This means you can't itemize efficiently at all. Armor pen and magic pen are worthless on him due to hybrid damage and going full tank will make you deal no damage. If he scaled (offensively) off AD and HP, or AP and HP, it would be perfect. It's SUPER simple, so why not? And most of all, how didn't you think about it?

Number 3: he's not viable bot lane. He can do things if played with Taric or Blitz (and the like), which means he's not viable since having to play with a champ to do well isn't good at all. So either make it viable bot lane, which is nearly impossible and is a bad idea anyways, or scrap all his duo lane bonuses and switch that power to actual things. His dragon ghost: either he can get a herald ghost too, or none. Give him back the armor and magic resist on his W, and the damage even when self-cast.

4, and this one may piss you off: the visuals... Who woke up one day and said "oh wow, let's turn the visual effects of a giant metal wraith to purple smoke, giant metal particles aren't good enough". This doesn't change gameplay at all, but god how bad these effects are. Yes, you put a lot of work and effort in these, but the base idea was wrong.

5: his ult.The thing we all (yes, all, go check it) liked about his ult was the damage. Who got the idea to change it from bursty to sustained? It's the point of it.

6: the Q. No one is ever hit by the 3rd proc, unless you have ms, a slow or hard cc from a friend, which only happens late game, unless you play adc morde, which doesn't happens since it doesn't work, remember? So either bring back the old q, which was broken, or actually do something good. A giant cleave effect? An auto that you can charge? I'm no game designer, go find something that actually works.

7:Morde is a solo laner. Mid or top. He should be designed as such. Like, really. No bot lane. I used to play him bot sometimes with soraka for the perma heal. But it was situational. Like everychamp that you don't play in it's intended role. It could work, sometimes. But most often it wouldn't.

And finally, but I know I do this vainly: why don't you just put the real Mordekaiser back?

And please, please, pretty please, answer. To me or anyone that made a complaint thread on Morde. It's been a long time and you never replied officially. Why?

And as a personal request: can you put the old Lord Mordekaiser splash art back? The new one is objectively and technically worse than the old.
