Knight's vow's mechanics are the key to making bot lane balanced

If riot took this item, and made the link permanent (Unless in case of a disconnect i guess) then the item could effectively be buffed just a bit

furthermore, items like would be better if they were more specific towards teamwork

I'd love to see more items with the link mechanic, including ADC items, making a burst crit sword sounds so great, but then rengar just builds it and so it gets nerfed.

making something that increases damage dealt to targets that your support is whaling on or whatnot, or the support gold farm item having a link effect for 'goldsharing' of a certain percent with the adc, even a ward given when the adc clears two cannons or gets a kill? that sounds great to me.

sounds less overbearing too, you could in effect make these adc items cheaper, but make them more reliant on comboing with the support.

you could then, in effect, make adc gold income lower by splitting the gold earned by the adc with the support, thus locking the adcs into their new items, while allowing them to build the stronger 'solo laner' items if they get ahead.

Item link passive should function somewhere like Leona's passive, Kalista's W passive, or Knight's vow, in which they offer engaging enough teamwork requiring itemization, which if used right would make them a powerful 2 man team, but if used poorly would be less usefull
