4 games win steak--> Promo --> first game, Enemy top and jung are duo smurfs with 90% win rate

2nd game --> Enemy ad was plat s7 while my ad was silver

Lost promos

2 games and got back to promos

First game, Auto filled Bronze 1 Adc

2nd game, I was tilted so I straight up inted that one.

Lost 2 more games, dodged a few, after that, 4 games win streak and got into promo, now I have a free win, this can't be hard right ?

At this point, I'm just done. I want to know why does Riot match people up with negative win-rates and AFKers every time they're in their promos ?

Why am I even playing this game at this point.

To make the climbing several times as long. Because when you know you can get better position, you'll try to get there. As if to prove some point.

And I know that as much as you'll hate it.. You answered yourself in next sentence.

My suggestion. Do NOT play ranked. Not today, not tomorrow, NOT next season. EVER. Skip ranked. Just ignore it. It's a meaningless rat race with track full of obstacles and no actual finish line.

I wouldn't say that "promos are rigged" It's just the whole matchmaking that is completely broken this season. Not only Promos. I play P1/Dia4 and I get 70% Smurfs vs a team where everyone (!!!) has negative winrate. Also unranked players with 100% lost games. It's fucking weird. 80% of the games i can tell the outcome on op.gg before game even started.

Went through. Similar situation today. I kind of just learned to assume I’m going to get idiots if i get on a win streak.

One promo game I had a bronze 2 midlaner with a 27% win rate (I’m S2) with about s1 g5 mmr atm

They gotta keep knocking you down so you don’t reach the rank you want.
