Azir - from rags to riches (vice versa)
Hello, community. Here I would like to give a thought to Azir
- one of my favourite champs, which I've playing quite a lot, untill something bad happened (we all know what - nerfs, but this is not signigicant, more importantly - mechanic changes, which I will discuss later).
So, from the very release he was a strong and, more inmportant for me, interesting mid to play - unique gameplay, his design (oh, the galactic skin, you are so pretty) and his bird-emotion with this absolutely cute sound (like urrrr-rrrr-urrrrww). Azir is one of "hard to master" champs (I hope no one will argue with that) and when I became good with him - I was rewarded with plat division. I didn't care about the nerfs in terms of damage - his damage was really high, he could literally stab anyone in any stage of the game with his sand spear. I agree on those nerfs.
But it was not nerfs, that killed the champion and did gameplay with him absolutely horrible - it was colibration of mechanics. Let me explain: past Azir could Q his soldier in one point, and soldiers would often stand one in another so enemy is getting hit by both soldiers (or more). With recent "fix" soldiers now go such a way, that the point where is your Q cursos is located would be precisely between them and all enemy need to do is step further or backwards. This is the thing that lead Azir to lowest winrate in game (38%).
Riot please fix this mechanics.
