When a League analytics site, like League of Graphs, or Champion.gg, says a champion has a 37.7% play-rate, it does not mean that championed is played by 37.7% of the League player-base, it means that in 37.7% of games that champion is picked. Which means, the actual play-rate of a champion is significantly less, as only one person can play them per match, as per Draft Pick. Just something to note, whenever people are blurting out statistics.
