Before you rage at a "useless" supportive champ

Consider the following:

-Am I unnecessarily putting myself in situations where I would need support resources? -Is someone else on the team doing that, and the support is sacrificing resources to stop those dumb plays from being an instant game-over? (We've all seen that Riven that thinks she can 1v5 lategame, don't play risky after the support burned everything to disengage from that). -Is the threat something the support can actually deal with? (Fed Brand melting an entire team, you gotta play around that. Shields can only go so far). -Am I a priority for support resources? (If mid is 2/9 and adc is 15/1, guess who's gonna get Knights Vow and most of the peeling).

Not to say that supports are helpless, at the end of the game that prompted this I got to the end and went "huh in hindsight probably woulda won this if I'd done a couple things differently". That said, the nonsense above is way more instrumental in throwing games. (Not that it needs context, but the game in question was against jungle soraka and ap shaco top, of all things).

Most importantly: a support's kit can protect one idiot who has a deathwish. If you're in soloq, you're not gonna have the luxury of being the only idiot with a deathwish.
