Petition #2 to Riot: Please reconsider / modify the Doran Ring PBE change

I understand that there is a champion abuse case of stacking D.Rings on tanky ap laners like Galio for example, and this was happening particularly often at competitive, high elo (like challenger).

However, making the 4 mana refund passive into a Unique passive, will definitely hurt more champions than it does for solving the issue on a few champions. Nasus, Swain, Maokai, and Karthus, to name a few. Maybe even some off-meta stuff like Warwick top (for early sustain/mana regen/ap).

There may be alternate ways to nerf D.Ring stacking for these edge abuse cases, while still maintaining some D.Ring stacking integrity for champions overall.

Right now D.Ring gives: 60HP, 15AP, +50% Mana Regen (+4 per 5s), with Passive: Restores 4 mana upon killing a unit.

What about these alternative changes?

• 60HP 65HP, 15AP 10AP, +50% Mana Regen (+4 per 5s +2 per 4s), with Passive: Restores 4 2 mana upon killing a unit

• 60HP 75HP, 15AP 5AP, +50% +25% Mana Regen (+4 per 5s +3 per 6s), with Passive: Restores 4 5 mana upon killing a unit

• Or some other variation on these, that doesn't involve straight up simply nerfing the item passive without compensation elsewhere.
