What I want to see from the MYMU

With the recent heat that Riot has been getting when they unveiled their ideas for the item reworks, I noticed that the vast majority of people have been only expressing what they DON'T want from the MYMU. I personally HATE the direction Riot is taking and I absolutely despise some of their choices for champs to receive an "update". Namely Vel for the big 6, and Anivia for the low scope.

From what I have seen so far and looking at Riot's recent history, I can't say that I actually trust Riot to have a positive impact with the MYMU. That being said, what I want above all else from Riot is to see some accountability. I want to see Riot give us a minimum success criteria for the MYMU for each champ and if that criteria is not met for those champs, a complete revert of those changes.

For those of you who aren't familiar with the term "minimum success criteria", it is a standard at which something is compared to in order to determine if the thing being measured was successful. Example, a car being designed to travel a minimum of 500 miles on a single tank of gas in a highway environment. The minimum success criteria in this case would be being able to travel 500 miles before refueling. If the criteria is not met, then the project is not released and either goes back into development or cancelled completely.

Riot needs to hold themselves to some level of accountability. I think it is only fair to the players that this happens. I would be at much more ease with the MYMU if I saw Riot give clear goals to compare their work to and a promise that any work that fails is reverted. Look at any other company, they ALL have similar practices. I haven't seen Riot openly admit they have made a mistake and reverted it in years.
