Flip mechanics?

so lemme get something right here... if sinjed or volibear tries to flip you and you displace them in any way, you end up behind where they end up and not where they flipped you from? what sense does that make? and this has been the way its been since their release? common thats just dumb

singed goes to flash E a vanye, just as he flashes she condems him but since he was in range to E, she goes the whole length of her E and then behind him? not where he was when he interacted to flip her?
