Ranked is too difficult

Hey I've been playing for league for almost a year and am still stuck in bronze. This is pretty true to every game I play, that it's very hard to improve. When I reached level 30 in league, I jumped into ranked about a week afterwards. I felt pretty confident at that point, until I got into ranked. Most people on my teams would flame me, refuse to gank my lane, etc. This would frustrate me and I would either quit the game for the day or keep playing and raging, sometimes even making me flame teammates, a horrible decision. When I was placed into bronze 1, which I still am at right now, I had very bad luck with the game. I wasn't experiencing tilt, I just wasn't playing as good as the silvers/bronzes I was matched with. I try to play my main champions when I can, but I end up with only one or two kills, many deaths, some assists, and my team losing. I am considering playing more ranked, which I don't enjoy, just so I can derank to be able to play with players at my same skill level. What is there I can do?

Watch videos on youtube. Do proactive things like instead of following a build on probuilds or another site, try to understand WHY people pick the items they do. All you need to do is keep playing and gain more general game experience. This game is deceptive... there is a lot more to it than first meets the eye.

I know one thing... oddly enough... that helped me improve as a player was watching Random LoL Moments on YouTube on the channel "Realm Games". In these little short clips, you see funny plays, mistakes, or just people outplaying other people. When I was new, I would watch these and try to understand why something was funny, what did they do to mess up? Why? What could be done differently?

Doing this improved my general game knowledge and helped me become a better player. You just need to find something like that to do... practice practice practice! :D

If you really are worried about it, play a bunch of draft mode normals for a while. They are always a good place to practice and people a slightly less likely to flame in them.

The best way to get good is to think about each particular little exchange and try to make it the best you possible can. If you walked forward, the enemy hit you and you walked away, even that was a loss for you. Every little exchange like this that you ever lose was likely your mistake, and you should work your hardest to try to improve every one of those that you see. If you just go by endgame results or just keep playing without thinking about what you should be doing better, it's very hard to improve at any decent rate.
