Premature ending of Season 8

I understand that there are not going to be any big changes this season, but look at the state of the game. Just read the boards and see the frustration and everything that's happening ... Perhaps it would be better if this season ended a month or two sooner than previous seasons ... And some really big changes would hit the preseason patch ...
