Bring back old aatrox?

After watching Exil's argument on how the mains of champs such as Rengar, Leblanc, Ahri, and Shaco have gotten the former iterations of the champions back, I realize how unfair this situation is to Aatrox mains. Yes, the 4 champs mentioned above have not gone through full VGUs, but would it be so bad if Aatrox was the first completely updated champ to be reverted? Even after 1 and a half years, I still don't see why you didn't just make this new Aatrox into a new champion. The old Aatrox was actually good. Would it be so hard to bring back the old Aatrox and make this current iteration of him into a new champ? Please. Do it for the Aatrox mains.

Old aatrox wasnt good. Pretty one dimensional with a plain and boring kit that didnt whose gimmick was done better by other champs.

Rengar and Leblanc (won't talk about he other two I've no clue about them), didn't receive VGUs, just gameplay updates. And their reverts were a result of their updates being inferior and clunkier than what they were before. New Aatrox is a better champion than the old one period. Honestly this exil guy and his videos are the culmination of rant culture in league. No real context or factchecking, just pandering to the kneejerk thinking of many league players. Aatrox was one of a bunch of champions that received extensive reimaginings and gameplay changes. If we pretend he kept nothing of his old design that's pretentious. He still is a draintank juggernaut. He did change from AA focused to ability focused. And if we pretend he's the only one that got that treatment, well, Poppy, Swain, Galio, Urgot, Gangplank.

Poppy was a tanky cheese assassin bruiser. She got turned into an actual peeling tank. Swain's character design was completely thrown out and most of his mechs got changed. He just kept the overlying theme of draintank battlemage. Galio and Urgot went from 0.001% pickrate troll picks to actual champs. Gangplank was a run-you-down stat ball turned AD zoning mage.

Bringing them all back is obviously a lot to ask, but if we get classic league of legends we'd have them all along with better gameplay.

I admit that I miss Old Aatrox a bit. New Aatrox is fun, tho. They should've created a new champ for new Aatrox kit and do a Warwick lvl of rework to old Aatrox.

New Aatrox is WAY more popular than old Aatrox. Why would they ever revert?

As sad as it is, and how I feel for Aatrox's former mains, it's not going to happen. Unlike said previous reverts, none of them were VGU level changes, and most of them were reverted because they were bad for game health/Character health. Shaco was a mess, or so I am told, Kog'maw constantly broke on-hit effects, Leblanc's extended kill time was artificial and just made the champion pathetic. I don't recall the reasons for Rengar's revert, and Ahri was shifted back into an assassin because people didn't like her being uncatchable (which is personally a change i disagree with. I'd far prefer a more mobile mage vs a mobile assassin with a damage amp).

To revert Aatrox would not only be a waste of resources, in both changing him back and creating a 'new champ' for the kit, but also just bring back the reasons why he was changed in the first place. Yes, old Aatrox was good midst his time before the VGU, but that doesn't excuse the stat-checky nature which I'm personally glad they got rid of. You can argue that his constant changes would label the rework a failure and an issue to game health, but just because something needs lots of changes doesn't make it a failure. Game design isn't an exact science, and is as prevalent on the players end as it is on the Devs, things aren't absolute.

they cant RIOTJAG delete it so we need to go and work in the RIOTGAME to bring back old aatrox kit because old aaatrox mains know how to improve his kit what to change ana have an ideas.
