Honest Bot-Lane Inquiry [S8]

Not flaming.

What is up with S8 bot lane? It has been VERY common (not EVERY game, but a majority of them) that a bottom lane will go 1 death/minute in the first 10 minutes of the game without ever being ganked by the enemy.

Earlier in the season I decided to try ADC again to see if I could understand what the difficulty was, and I maintained a 93% winrate at the time over the course of those 17 games (I have played marksmen in the jungle with fair frequency, but I rarely lane unless filled). I actually went from S2-G4 playing bot lane for a day. However, that is not my role and I don't want to play it.

So, I am curious as to what the issue is, as I couldn't pinpoint them in my games as ADC. But there is no way that a death per minute should be a normal occurrence for any lane in Gold+ elo (silver too, honestly).

Do you think certain comps are too strong (Poke vs Sustain vs Farm vs Etc.)? Meta shifts? Mobility abilities for some champs and not others [dashes etc.]? CC on marksman? There is a problem but I cannot pinpoint it. What do you think it is?

Edit: Just to be sure, I don't blame anything on these bot lanes. Games are still able to be won more often than not. I've had 0/19 bot lanes and still won. Winrate is not the issue here, attempting to understand the power struggle is.
