Guinsoo's Rageblade Item Balance
This isn't a rant by any means just a suggestion for balancing the item. For reference I'm a diamond V ranked player although I personally don't think rank should determine ideas. I'm also interested to hear other thoughts on the subject. I've played the on the PBE and it would seem that Guinsoo has seen a 300 gold increase versus the current item price - I don't believe this will resolve the issue.
My suggestion would be to get rid of the melee attackers getting double stacks. No matter how much I try to comprehend why this was implemented I cannot find a single reason. As long as that mechanics exist champions like xin, yi, irelia, jax and aatrox will receive huge benefits being able to stack 16% attack speed per strike. The item also has a very overpowered mechanic when combined with devourer. Potentially the second nerf could come in the form of reducing the AS per attack from 8% to 6%. I'm not too sure on that one or if it would be even needed.
I think you guys are going in the right direction with nerfing static shiv's damage and not allowing crits to heal off of minions for champs such as yasuo or tryn. However this item is going to remain an issue with melee champs unless we get rid of the double stacking mechanic and no amount of gold increase will change that unless it's an absolute ridiculous increase.
