Solo Q ranked

So it looks like I wont to getting 10 wins in my placements this season, due to one single afker. I know riot is trying to punish people more for it, but that honestly is kinda dumb. I understand that sometimes people have to go, things come up. The logical step into making it not effect the afkers teammates is to make it not effect them, simple as that. Don't count it as a loss, show alittle mercy for something thats outside of the player's control. Thinking about this also made me think about solo all together. Why is it about teamplay? Solo q should be about how well YOU preform, not how well your team does. If you break it down into a stat system based on how well someone does, it will not only help people be place more accurately, it will encourage people to do better. This doesn't mean you cant have team play! A bonus can be given if a team wins, encouraging people to work together. I just feel like the system now is flawed in so many ways. Well, sorry about my rant. Hope everyone has better luck then me
