Bard - Oh the tricks and traps.

Because bard got buffed last patch I decided to pick him up and have some fun.

First thoughts: Wowa! hes a real trickster, within the first game, half of my plays would have been quality thug life clips.

I think a lot of people have written bard off to the higher levels of play or no level of play but the truth is he has two extremely powerful abilities and as such is held back to keep balance. What troubles most players is that his AP scaling is bad and and his stun is really hard to use at times, not to mention his wet noodle AD hits. Meeps are powerful but you need to collect a lot of chimes before you start seeing the rewards.

In short: Bard is a heal bus trickster who has grease lightning in his boots, he makes amazing bate and the level of confusion he can bring to a fight is awesome.

Tricks

Magical journey: it is a fast way to get around, and make any part of the map flat but what you may not know is some of these moves...

1. Cast magical Journey tangent to a wall and run down the full length, the speed bonus is well worth it and lets you get ahead of runners.
2. Cast magical journey as a getaway, make sure your teammates are on the other side, most players can not resist following you. See people think bard is a joke and always chase him, hes kinda the ultimate bate.
3. Once you get the other side cast cosmic binding when they get to the other side and you stun them against the wall.
4. Cast magical Journey so that it dumps you under your own tower, then bate... trust me this one is hilarious.

Tempered Fate: This move in short is a range AOE but how to use it? (Some non-obvious uses)

1. Cast Bards ult during team fights in such a way you split the enemy teams back line, that 5v5 just became a 2v5 for 2.5 seconds. This also can be used in smaller fights as well.
2. Dive! Dive! use Magical Journey to dive under the enemy tower to snag a kill on a wounded champ, then when you need to escape, ult the tower and get out, the ult buys you the time to get clear.
3. Wombo Stacking, Cast bards ult on mid lane sedge so that the likes of can drop her ult.
