Question to ADC mains: Why do you insist on...

...getting yourself in a position you are prone to being initiated and blown up within a second, just so that you poke a person of the enemy team for like 200 dmg, sealing the fate of a bad teamfight where you will be out of the equation from the start?

I'd say quite comfortably that when the stars align and you have a competent jungler (or both teams have an incompetent one), this ADC behaviour is the #1 reason why the mid to late game lead push gets thrown out of the window.

Zac jumped at me from 5 miles away when I was behind my entire team, totally my fault

Yeah if more adc's worshiped bang instead of Wildturtle and Gosu, they might be a lot better lol.

Not exclusive to ADC mains. Happens with everyone in my games. Supports, mages, assassins, whatever. The LC$ pentakill dreams of ADC mains is probably a reason why they are somewhat more prone to it though.

I'm a bronze 2 ADC.

There are fine lines between helping in team fights, staying out of trouble so you don't get wrecked, and being a kill-seeking tard.

Well, yes. The role that does the most late-game damage would be most important in the late game. Every single role gets caught out like idiots, it's just most important when ADCs do it. With great power comes great responsibility, you know?

And you can say the same about other roles in their prime stages of the game. Junglers feeding out their asses in the early game and letting the other jungler dominate the entire game, top laners being literally wherever they shouldn't be at all times, mid laners feeding out the ass early and letting their lane opponent dominate the mid game, etc.
