Blue Essence: Still needs improvement

Now that people have had time to experience the new system, I'm just wondering what your thoughts are on it.

I'm just sick of getting Gankplank+Singed+90BE out of my level ups, these 810 low rolls are clearly not random, and I don't know why riot is STILL being so stingy on this. I don't care that we get a free chest or skin shard for events, it's not like they're doing us a mega favour. They're just feeding us small amounts of bait to hook us into the system and masking it as a "reward".

Honestly, the old system was superior for anyone interested in earning more IP. The new system is better if you are amused by the superficial "Random lootbox". Both of my "glorious champ capsules" have been low rolls (6300+4800 champs), and I've only ever rolled duplicates on the few premium champ shards that I have received. Yes, they gave us 50BE for first win, but this works out to be about on par with the previous 150BE we received.

It seems riot has just pushed it out, realized it was too shitty, so they "tweaked it" a bit in our favour, and just never mentioned it again, waiting for us to forget.
