Tryndamere rework concept
Here is an attempt at making Tryndamere like what I described in the linked post.
Keep in mind i'm not a designer, just a fan, so this is probably busted in a few ways and has some rough edges-- but thats ok, its just an idea to start a discussion, not a mandate or something written in stone:
Stat changes: 345 movespeed --> 300 movespeed 0.67 (+ 0 -- 49.3%) attack speed --> 0.5 (+ 0 -- 0%) attack speed 125 range --> 350 range
Passive: Battle Fury Tryndamere gains 25 fury per second (five per one-fifth second interval) if at least one enemy champion is within 350 range. Tryndamere's fury decays at a rate of 20 fury per second (four per one-fifth second interval) while no enemy champion is within 350 range.
Passive: Blade of the north Tryndamere's drags a massive sword behind him that cannot be wielded like a normal blade-- his auto attacks are special:
- Attack speed is locked at 0.5 attacks per second (has a 1 second windup time, 0.5 second animation and 0.5 second decay) which can neither be increased nor decreased by any means.
- Bonus attack speed is converted into attack damage; attack speed slows temporarily reduce the amount converted. Each 1% bonus attack speed is increases his attack damage by 1%.
- Have 350 attack range and his attacks cannot be interrupted by any form of crowd control or self cancelled.
- Always critically strike (towers take half damage)
- Only deal damage to things in a narrow linear area of effect (75 units wide, 350 units long) where his sword hits the ground; the primary target is not automatically damaged.
- Bonus critical strike chance causes a percentage of the damage dealt with his auto attacks to deal true damage. Each 1% crit chance converts 0.35% of his attack into true damage.
- On hit effects and on attack effects are applied to every champion struck, but an enemy champion cannot be affected more than once by any named effect in a single attack.
Q: Swing Cooldown: 3.5 (static, not reducible with cooldown reduction) Active: Tryndamere issues an auto attack targeted at the ground at the given location within range.
W: Rancor (toggle) Cost: 10 fury per second On: Ongoing crowd control affecting Tryndamere expires twice as fast. Off: Tryndamere can issue auto attacks even while crowd controlled, but ongoing crowd control affecting Tryndamere expires half as fast.
E: Spinning Slash Cooldown: 15 Range: 900 AOE: 700 width, 900 units long Active: Tryndamere dashes in the target direction, damaging targets around him as if he auto attacked them. This auto attack does not and can not critically strike, and the same enemy cannot be hit more than once with a single use. Tryndamere is unstoppable while dashing.
R: Undying rage Cooldown: 100, 80, 60 Passive: Tryndamere cannot die while he has fury. Active: Tryndamere instantly gains 25 / 50 / 100 fury.
